سيتم تقديم أداة بيانات الاستهلاك العالمي الفردي للأغذية التابعة لمنظمة الأغذية والزراعة / منظمة الصحة العالمية في حدث جانبي لمنتدى العلوم والتكنولوجيا والابتكار (STI) بتاريخ 6 مايو 2022، الساعة 7:30 – 9:00 بتوقيت شرق الولايات المتحدة/ 13.30 - 15.00 بالتوقيت الصيفي لوسط أوروبا، بعد رسم خرائط المبادرات الرقمية ذات الصلة عبر منظومة الأمم المتحدة، حيث تم استلام 489 مساهمة من 39 كيان من كيانات الأمم المتحدة.

يسرنا أن نعلن عن نشر "التقرير العالمي عن حالة البيانات الغذائية"، الذي تم إعداده بتعاون مشترك بين شعبة الأغذية والتغذية في منظمة الأغذية والزراعة ومركز المدخول لتقييم النظام الغذائي في مؤسسة إف إتش أي للحلول (FHI Solutions).

A stakeholder workshop was provided to raise awareness and promote the use of dietary data in various domains and nutrition-related sectors in Lao People's Democratic Republic. 

The FAO/WHO GIFT platform now has 32 datasets available. You can now access ready-to-use infographics and download the full microdata of 10 nationwide surveys and 22 sub-national surveys from different countries. 

The Food and Nutrition Division at FAO led a 3-week training course with 25 participants gathered in Vientiane, Lao PDR and others on Zoom to explain how to use dietary data. 

This Call for Expression of Interest, issued by FAO, is to identify institutions from low- and middle-income countries, with access to Individual Quantitative Food Consumption (IQFC) data that could be shared through the FAO/WHO GIFT platform.

FAO and the Intake Center for Dietary Assessment have jointly convened a meeting about “Dietary Data Collection, Analysis and Use: Taking Stock of Country Experiences and Promising Practices in Low- and Middle-Income Countries” on 11–13 December 2019 at FAO headquarters in Rome, Italy.

The FAO/WHO GIFT platform is funded in part by a four-year grant (2018–2022) from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, aimed at transforming the platform into a robust global tool. 

A webinar session in Spanish will take place on the 6th of August 2019 to walk users through the new features of the FAO/WHO GIFT platform.

An open access article on the FAO/WHO GIFT platform has been published in the Proceedings of the Nutrition Society.
