"Hear from the Beneficiaries"

Lucas Mandambu, a cocoa farmer and cocoa fermentary owner from Angoram District, ESP, is one of 50 lead cocoa value chain actors in the district who were trained on Cocoa Quality Assessment organised by the Cocoa Board of Papua New Guinea and #EU-funded STREIT PNG Programme. 

This training enables the fermenatry owners to recognise the properties of quality cocoa beans to ferment and supply markets with PNG quality cocoa products. 

This Training was part of a broader skill training initiative to train 400 "Cocoa Quality Assessors" across the Sepik region, implemented by the Cocoa Board and the European Union in Papua New Guinea-funded STREIT PNG Programme.
