COCOA FARMER SPEAKS ABOUT LIFE IN RURAL LUMI

Our cocoa team is working closely with Cocoa Board of PNG and DAL to provide support to rural farmers in West Sepik hinterlands through their organized cluster groups. Hence, our first approach is to train them on basic essential skills and techniques of Bud Grafting and block management. This will enable them to rehabilitate and improve their cocoa blocks with the newly introduced Cocoa Pod Borer tolerant clone cocoa seedlings. Here, we talked to one of the participants of our Cocoa Bud Graft training about the life in rural Lumi.
