The European Union in Papua New Guinea- funded Streit Programme Png on another phase of supporting rural vanilla farmers in remote villages of the Sepik region delivered vanilla cultivation, husbandry and processing materials to farmers in Green River LLG of Sandaun Province after providing them with intensive vanilla farming training in 2021. Here is Linda Felix, a lead vanilla farmer in Green River LLG, trained by the STREIT Vanilla value chain team to properly cultivate, manage and process vanilla beans to improve the quality of vanilla beans produced in her village. Hence, Linda was one of the recipients of the first 20 sets of vanilla farming equipment delivered to vanilla cluster groups in the Green River LLG.
