EU Funded UN Joint STREIT PNG Programme's Scope of Support

The Support to Rural Entrepreneurship, Investment and Trade in Papua New Guinea (EU-STREIT PNG), is a UN Joint Programme funded by the European Union that assists agripreneurs to develop, rehabilitate and expand production and trade of Cocoa, Vanilla and Fisheries in PNG provinces of East Sepik and Sandaun. EU-STREIT PNG is the largest grant-funded programme of the European Union in the country and in the Pacific sub-region. It supports not only entrepreneurs and farmers directly but also helps to improve the enabling environment - their access to markets, finance, telecommunications, and renewable energy.
