FAO TREATED AND DISTRIBUTED 10K VANILLA VINES TO FARMERS IN WOSERA, East Sepik Province

To assist address vanilla fungal diseases in the Sepik Region of Papua New Guinea, the STREIT PNG Programme is rolling out healthy treated vanilla vines to its vanilla beneficiaries in the region. The treatment used is basically a bio-insect-repellent spray made from organic materials. Here, the #FAO vanilla team under the #EU-funded STREIT PNG Programme treated and distributed 10,000 (Ten Thousand) vines to over 200 vanilla farmers in Blamda communities of North Wosera LLG in East Sepik Province.
