Remembering our colleague Georges

The FAO family in Lebanon remembers our colleague Georges El Nahri who passed away on 11 December 2021. Georges’ impact and work in the organization still lives on, showing the important role he played in FAO’s Representation in Lebanon, projects and initiatives.

He will always be remembered as a great support to the FAO teams in Lebanon, RNE and HQ. With his outgoing personality, his positive attitude and sense of humor, he has certainly left a big void in the lives of everyone who knew him.

The FAO family truly misses George’s spirit, strong leadership and smiling face.
