Rome, 16 October 2012- At the issue of a Ministerial meeting on food price volatility, a press conference took place at FAO headquarters, to discuss current volatile food prices consequences worldwide. The event, with the participation Mr. José Graziano da Silva, Director-General of FAO, and Mr. Stéphane Le Foll, French Minister of agriculture, addressed the challenge to enhance the effectiveness of measures to reduce the impacts of food price volatility on vulnerable populations.
