Rome, 15 June 2013-- Mr Alinovi has been recognized for his outstanding contribution to the Somalia Programme, his innovative approach to adopt Cash-For-Work (CFW) as an emergency response modality for the Horn of Africa crisis in 2011 and his leadership, which contributed to the successful decentralization of FAO operations and has increased the Organization’s efficiency and reputation in Somalia.
