7 October 2013, Rome - The Committee on World Food Security (CFS) opened its 40th session at FAO. Today’s event sets the stage for a week full of plenary discussions with high level representatives and a number of side events held by international stakeholders. In a rare convergence of experts - NGOs, Ministers, and delegates continue to arrive from around the globe to participate in both official and unofficial events related to CFS.
