Filipino farmers bounce back and build resilient livelihoods
7 November 2014, Rome/ Tacloban--– It has been one year since Typhoon Haiyan swept through coastal and farmland areas in the central Philippines, and damage to the agricultural sectors and other effected communities was devastating. One year later, however, farmers and fishers are well on the road to recovery and building more resilient livelihoods.

Alessia Anibaldi is an Emergency Operations Manager for FAO, based in Manilla. In the following interview she describes the situation on the ground and what has happened for those in affected areas over this past year.
