In the US, 'Bread for the World', a US-based citizens' movement against hunger, is leading the National Alliance Against Hunger. Its President, David Beckman, is this year's McDougall Lecture Speaker at the opening of the the 33rd Session of FAO governing Conference, on 19 November 2005, in Rome.
