Ambassador Yaya Olaniran of Nigeria in Rome, was elected as Chair of the Committee on World Food security for a two year term, last October 2012. His agenda for action took him to Africa, last January 2012, on a trip with the Director-Genral of FAO. In the following interview, Ambassador Yaya expresses his views and thoughts on the way forward:
