Better agricultural and food systems lead to healthier people and healthier ecosystems
Rome, 30 May 2012- FAO launches today its new policy document prepared for the Rio+20 UN Conference on Sustainable Development, next 20-22 June in Brazil. The report ?Towards the future we want: end hunger and make the transition to sustainable agricultural and food systems? sheds the light on the fact that hunger reduction and sustainable development are deeply linked, for such reason, better governance of agriculture and food systems is key to achieving both targets.

Access to Natural resources, such as land, water and forests, is essential to produce food.
