FAO praises Brazil's commitment to ending hunger and poverty

Brazil says the 146th session of the FAO Council, presented an opportunity for Brasilia to renew its commitment to strongly support the FAO’s efforts to eradicate hunger and poverty, building on lessons learned from the Zero Hunger Programme in the country. A High-Level Meeting due to take place in Addis-Ababa on 30 June -1 July will focus on new, unified approaches to end hunger in Africa, where Brazil can have a significant role to play.
