FAO recently launched an Energy-smart Food for People and Climate paper, Making the case for Energy-Smart Food at FAO. The Energy-Smart Food Programme aims to help countries promote energy-smart agri-food systems by identifying, planning and implementing appropriate energy, food security and climate-smart strategies to boost agricultural growth and rural development.
