Hunger Run 2012 - English version

The 2012 edition of the HUNGER RUN (formerly called "Run for Food") -- 10k run and 5k run/walk ­-- took place in Rome's historic centre, on Sunday 21 October. More than 3,000 people participated in the event, which raised funds for a field project working with poor communities in rural Kenya affected by drought and poor harvests. HUNGER RUN is organized by technical partner Gruppo Sportivo Bancari Romani on behalf of FAO, IFAD, WFP, Bioversity International and FAO Staff Coop, with the support of sponsors and other partners.
