Ninth Session FAO COFI Sub-Committee on Aquaculture

Held 24-27 October 2017 at FAO Headquarters in Rome, Italy, the Ninth session of the COFI Sub-Committee on Aquaculture brought together 188 delegates from 94 countries to discuss global developments and challenges in the aquaculture sector. In this overview, country delegates discuss aquaculture’s role in the SDGs, antimicrobial resistance in the aquaculture sector and challenges for SIDS countries developing aquaculture and implementing Blue Growth.
