UN Joint Project in Bangladesh
In Bangladesh, almost 40% of the people live in poverty. With rising food prices and natural disasters, children and mothers are most at risk from malnutrition. Improving food security for them is one of the most difficult tasks of the Millennium Development Goals. Three UN agencies, FAO, WFP and UNICEF, are working together to help the most vulnerable.
