Videos about Special Agricultural Products in Africa and Asia and the Pacific

Rome - The One Country One Priority Product initiative (OCOP) promotes Special Agricultural Products (SAPs) at global, regional and country levels.

This is well-reflected in the videos exploring the value chains of various SAPs  in OCOP project countries that can be watched on the  Regional Knowledge Platform on OCOP in Africa, and the Regional Knowledge Platform on OCOP in Asia and the Pacific.

In Africa the video covers sorghum in South Sudan. In Asia the videos cover quinoa in Bhutan,  millets in India and  cardamom in Nepal.

These short videos introduce the SAP and the people who's livelihood and nutrition is linked to its value chain. They also provides a brief introduction to their importance in the OCOP project country and the rationale for their sustainable development.
