Launch: Community of Practice for Antimicrobial Resistance Laboratory Innovators

Virtual Event, 20/05/2024

12:00 – 13:00 CEST | 20 May 2024 | Online

Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) poses a fundamental threat to the health of human, animal, plant, and the environment, with potential destabilizing effects in agrifood systems, livelihoods, and economies. Laboratory diagnostics play an essential role for informing the use of antimicrobials towards successful treatments, and for detecting and characterizing AMR within surveillance systems to guide response and control strategies.

This Community of Practice for the Antimicrobial Resistance Laboratory Innovators will provide a space to enhance collaboration and knowledge sharing among laboratory professionals on AMR diagnostics, new research findings and seed innovative solutions.
