Inventory of One Health tools and resources

This inventory of One Health tools and resources was compiled by OHHLEP to identify:  

• Tools available to support the implementation of the One Health Joint Plan of Action at global, regional and local levels.
• Tools to support capacity building and OH JPA implementation.
• Support for optimal outcomes for countries and regions using One Health tools.
• Linkages to OH JPA Action Tracks and pathways in the One Health Theory of Change.
• Gaps and priorities for development of additional tools.

The inventory is based on relevance to One Health, use at the national level in ≥5 locations, and whether tools were publicly available. They were also assessed on the extent to which they addressed gender equality, social inclusion, and environmental dimensions of One Health.

Most available One Health tools addressed assessment and to a lesser extent implementation of One Health, with fewer tools available for action planning, prioritization, and monitoring. Gaps and opportunities for improving One Health tools were identified, including the integration of the environment dimension, gender equality, and social inclusion.

The list of tools is also available as an annex to the One Health Joint Plan of Action Implementation Guide. This list is a living inventory and will be reviewed periodically by the Quadripartite.
