16 March 2021 - The “Capacity-building Workshop on Freshwater Aquaculture Value Chain Development and Food Security through South-South Cooperation” was officially launched today under the framework of the FAO-China South-South Cooperation (SSC) Programme.
This virtual workshop, which will run from March to April 2021, aims at improving the capacity of participants to respond to the global challenges facing the aquaculture sector, and exchange knowledge in building resilient value chains.

12 марта 2021 года, Кигали/Рим - Продовольственная и сельскохозяйственная организация Объединенных Наций (ФАО) заключила в Руанде соглашение с компанией JR Farms Limited о содействии вовлечению молодежи в сельскохозяйственную деятельность и обеспечению достойной занятости.
Компания JR Farms - руандийское сельскохозяйственное предприятие, работающее в Руанде, Нигерии и Замбии и занимающееся переработкой и розничной торговлей пищевыми продуктами, а также торговлей сельскохозяйственными сырьевыми товарами и консультированием. Основными ее задачами являются обеспечение продовольственной безопасности, ликвидация голода в Африке и создание достойных рабочих мест для африканских женщин и молодежи.
