The Parliamentary Front against Hunger of Ecuador (PFHE) met on Tuesday, 4th October in order to discuss various topics of their agenda. With the participation of around 40 legislative officials, a space for dialogue was created to share the status of the Draft School Feeding Law. On this occasion, the National Coordinator of the Front, Assemblyman Armando Aguilar presented the draft version of the Project and the contributions from the other participants were incorporated. FAO and the French Facility for Global Environment aim to protect wetland resources by making water birds hunting more sustainable
FAO and the French Facility for Global Environment (FFEM) will work together in a new partnership to improve the state of natural resources in the wetlands of Africa's Sahel region, in particular the sustainable management of migratory water birds which are crucial for food security for the local populations. According to FAO, Latin America and the Caribbean region enhances school feeding as a tool to fight against hunger, generating connections with family farming through public procurements.
