Visit of the new plough that will allow to bring land restoration to scale
Ouagadougou - During his visit to Burkina Faso from 18-20 February, FAO Director General José Graziano da Silva had a look at the new specialised plough for mechanised land preparation, purchased by FAO under its project Action Against Desertification. Eni and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) have signed yesterday a Collaboration Agreement to foster access to safe and clean water in Nigeria by drilling boreholes powered with photovoltaic systems, both for domestic use and irrigation purposes.
