“The new 2030 agenda brings a larger mandate to FAO and your role is only greater”
14 October 2015, Rome - The recent adoption of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals marks a turning point in the global community’s approach to development and calls for a revitalized Global Partnership for Sustainable Development, FAO Director General José Graziano da Silva said in his address to over 200 members of the Private Sector attending the 4th FAO private sector dialogue in Rome.

9 octubre 2015, Roma. “ElObservatorio del Derecho a la Alimentación y la Nutrición es una publicación independiente que evalúa políticas y otros asuntos relacionados con el derecho a la alimentación adecuada y a la nutrición, basado en un perspectiva de derechos humanos desde los ámbitos mundial, regional y nacional” explicó la representante de FIAN Internacional, Alejandra Morena, a su vez coordinadora del Observatorio 2015, esta mañana durante el lanzamiento en la sede central de la FAO.

La Nueva Oficina de Enlace y Partenariado en el país se encargará de la coordinación general del programa
6 de octubre de 2015, Malabo – El Gobierno de Guinea Ecuatorial y la FAO firmaron hoy un acuerdo para la puesta en marcha de un Programa de Partenariado por un valor de USD 31,5 millones, destinado a promover el desarrollo agropecuario en Guinea Ecuatorial, en los próximos siete años.

FAO and CEMA join forces - initial focus is on capacity building in Africa
2 October 2015, Rome - FAO and the European Agricultural Machinery Industry Association CEMA , an international non-profit organisation, today forged a new partnership that aims to promote wider use of sustainable agricultural mechanization in developing countries.

29 September 2015, New York - UN’s Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and Boulder Institute of Microfinance pledged to work together towards promoting broad access to financial services for the rural poor and to promote partnerships that increase responsible agricultural investments.
The MoU was signed on behalf of FAO by Maria Helena Semedo Deputy Director-General, Natural Resources and Robert Christen, President, Boulder Institute of Microfinance on 29 September at the FAO Liaison Office in New York. The collaboration between the organizations will support implementation of FAO’s Strategic Objectives and support capacity development, knowledge management, and private sector dialogue.
