The Community Seed Bank workshop is co-organised by the International Treaty on Plant Genetics Resources for Food and Agriculture and the Rete Semi Rurali (the Italian Seed Network) with the support of Bioversity International.
The workshop will be held on 22 September 2017, in FAO HQ, Rome. It aims at stimulating and furtherly sharing the perspectives around the community seed banks and networks on conservation and sustainable use of Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture (PGRFA).
It is in the framework of the research project DIVERSIFOOD funded by the EU and an experience that will be inserted as a lesson learned into the Program of Work on Sustainable Use of PGRFA.
