Technical exchange

This section will support exchanges between countries and partners on good practices, lessons learned, failures and policy and programmatic standards relevant to school food and nutrition, with a special focus on school meals.

The section will be co-constructed with stakeholders around the world to decide on the best formats and channels to exchange, the most relevant topics and the recommended timelines and regularity of the exchanges.

Do you want to ensure that your views and opinions are considered? Complete the survey below.

Ask us your technical questions about the process for developing school meal nutrition standards!

Developing guidelines and standards for school meals is not an easy process, and in many cases learning how other countries managed particular technical decisions is very useful.

If you find yourself in this position, you're in the right place! Head to the form using the button below and ask your question(s); we will route it to an expert or fellow technician to address them.

At present, we are testing various modalities to facilitate technical exchanges among school food and nutrition professionals, technicians and experts. By submitting your question, you will take part in this trial to refine the process, and to help us define the most useful and timely channel for such type of exchanges.
