Dear all,
With a background in water resource systems, management, and sustainable development, my experience involves operating, researching, and advocating for water conservation. I've worked on projects addressing the disaggregation of indicator SDG 6.4.2, the level of water stress (Algerian case). Joining the Water Scarcity Community of Practice, I hope to collaborate with like-minded professionals, exchange ideas, and stay informed about cutting-edge strategies. My expectations include gaining insights from diverse perspectives, contributing my expertise to discussions, and collectively advancing practical initiatives that mitigate water scarcity's impact on communities and ecosystems. Together, I aim to foster sustainable practices and raise awareness to address this critical global challenge

Thank you for joining and I am very excited to learn about your activities particularly your work on SDG 6.4.2 monitoring. I would like to say that FAO-RNE just concluded a workshop on this subject for the Arab countries. I am sharing with you below the link to the workshop page and material

We would also be very happy if you could contribute to the SDG 6.4 workshop Forum and Thread. It includes the national focal points that are mandated to report on SDG 6.4.1 and 6.4.2. I am sure you will benefit a lot from the discussions.

Hi,
Glad to join the conversation, I'm working in water management sector for 15 years with experience in water distribution,water quality monitoring ,water resources governance and irrigation.
Recently I have a special interest in climate change impacts on water resources and the increasing pressure added to scarcity problem in Egypt due to climate change impacts.
Wish to get more knowledge and experience joining the forum.
