Training on saline agriculture on 3 sites in Uzbekistan was organized in 18–22 March 2024, using the published WASAG Farmers’ guidelines on soil and water management in salt-affected areas. The training was welcomed by both government officials and farmers and highlighted the need for more training in dealing with salinity. A forthcoming training in Cabo Verde will follow in the first week of April 2024 with specific focus on halophytes. The outcomes of both trainings will be showcased during an upcoming WASAG event detailed below.
