CGIAR, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and The Rockefeller Foundation are collaborating to show how agrifood systems are part of the solution to the climate crisis under the first ever pavilion at the UN Conference of Parties dedicated to food and agriculture.  

The Pavilion provides a gathering place for partners and stakeholders, with two weeks of event programming, meeting spaces, and conversation opportunities. Events will be available via livestream or recordings through the homepage, ensuring engagement and learning can reach people all over the world.

Today (November 16) program will include the following Sessions:

  • Strengthening climate action in agriculture through regional integration
  • Unlocking multi-stakeholder collaboration for transformative agrifood systems through NDCs and NAPs
  • Smallholder farmers lead the way to scale climate solutions
  • Integrating climate action: managing the food, energy and water nexus for sustainable development (13:00–14:00)
  • Climate risks to water resources for food security: linking global, regional and national responses (14:30–15:30)
  • Elaborating the Africa Climate Smart Agriculture Framework (ACSAF) and its Plan of Action
  • Agricultural transformation requires a stronger focus on justice for vulnerable farmers
