FAO regional office for the Near East and North Africa (NENA) recently launched the first edition of the State of Land and Water Resources for Food and Agriculture Report (SOLAW) during a regional hybrid event organized on the 27th of July, 2022. This flagship publication presents objective and comprehensive information and analysis on the current state, trends, and challenges facing two of the most important agricultural production factors: land and water. The report focuses on several countries including Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman,Qatar, Suadi Arabia, Sudan, The Syrian Arab Republic, Tunisia, the United Arab Emirates, and Yemen, as well as West Bank and Gaza Strip.
