SITUACIÓN EPIDEMIOLÓGICA - PRIMER/ÚLTIMO BROTE: Se informó del primer brote el 26 de julio de 2012 en Cabinda.

ACTIVIDADES DE CONTROL: In 2012 targeted surveillance has been conducted to determine whether there were any PPR cases and /or antibodies in the goat and sheep populations in high risk areas. Vaccinations have been done in high-risk areas.

INFORMACIÓN ADICIONAL: 91.5% of sheep and goat are reared in central-southern provinces; documented livestock movement across official borders with Democratic Rep. of Congo and Zambia.
