GUINEA-BISSAU

The 2004 aggregate cereal production has been estimated at some 208 000 tonnes, 72 percent above last year�s level. Rice, the main crop, is expected to increase by 92 percent to 127 000 tonnes. Consequently, per caput cereal consumption is forecast to recover significantly from its previous low level.
