Numbers of Forestry Department technical reports on a wide variety of forestry subjects are produced in the course of UNDP/FAO field projects. The titles of these reports with brief indications of their contents are published monthly by the FAO Documentation Centre in the FAO Documentation - Current Index which is available, free of charge, on application to the FAO Documentation Centre at Rome. The reports are also noted in Forestry Abstracts produced quarterly by the Forestry Bureau at the Commonwealth Forestry Institute, Oxford, United Kingdom. Reports remain restricted until cleared by the government concerned. Once cleared, they are available for distribution as long as the limited stocks last.
