Cotton Research and Development Association (CRDA)
The Cotton Research and Development Association (CRDA) was founded in 1986 in the Cotton Section of the Department of Plant Breeding, CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar as its Head Quarter. Late Sh. Jai Lal Dalal, then Director of Agriculture, Govt. of Haryana was its founder President and Dr. M.S. Kairon, as its founder Secretary.
The association has 169 registered life members, 250-300 annual members and 28 Libraries/Institutions as annual members. The main activity of the Association is to publish the journal, to organise symposium once in three years as per mandate of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) from where the Association is getting matching financial grant of Rs. 1.5 lac every year for the publication of the journal.
