Ecosystem services directly and indirectly benefit agroecosystems. They are relevant for and add value to produced goods, by regulating ecosystem processes - such as air and water quality, climate, oxygen production, pollination and nutrient recycling -, and also provide non-material benefits to quality of life, such as recreation and tourism and esthetic experiences.
