Круг полномочий:(a) изучение конкретных пищевых проблем по поручению Комиссии и подготовка рекомендаций по общим вопросам питания для Комиссии;
(б) при необходимости, подготовка проектов общих положений по аспектам питания, касающимся всех пищевых продуктов;
(в) разработка стандартов, методических указаний или родственных текстов по пищевым продуктам для специального питания, при необходимости, совместно с другими Комитетами;
(г) рассмотрение, изменение и утверждение положений по аспектам питания, предлагаемых для включения в стандарты, методические указания или родственные тексты Кодекса.
