59. The invitation from the European Ichthyological Union to the EIFAC Working Party to combine its next meeting with theirs on eels in Asturias, Spain, in September 1994 was considered. The Chairman was requested to accept the invitation subject to agreement on an acceptable arrangement which would ensure that ample time and accommodation and secretarial facilities be available for the Working Party on Eel and that no charge would be imposed for these services. Should such an arrangement be impossible, the Working Party would meet in May 1995 and the Government of the Netherlands would be requested, through its representatives on the Working Party to provide facilities.
