| Objective / Goal | This GCF readiness proposal will contribute to build an AFOLU Registry and Nesting System in PNG that will facilitate private sector engagement, including for investment of resources generated, and leveraged, through the REDD+ RBP pilot programme. Activities included in the proposal are the establishment of institutional framework for the Nesting System, including regular meetings between the various AFOLU sector stakeholders including the private sector, support to address the regulatory gaps identified to establish a Nesting System, development of baseline information, support to establish a data management system, and improve some of the underlying activity data. |
