One of the objectives of the Green Cities Initiative is to establish a network of cities actively engaged in addressing their urbanization challenges by integrating urban and peri-urban forestry, urban and peri-urban agriculture, as well as bio circular economy.

The aim of the Network will be to promote city-to-city cooperation, cross-cutting partnerships and support for data analysis, the objective for participating cities is to accelerate their environmental transition and gain visibility on their achievements and challenges.
