This stakeholder workshop is conducted under the FAO Flexible Voluntary Contribution sub-programme “Scaling-up climate actions to enhance nationally determined contributions (NDC) and climate and livestock”, which supports nine countries in enhancing mitigation and adaptation measures in the livestock sector. Designed for a wide range of stakeholders, the workshop aims to strengthen inter-institutional exchange and collaboration for climate action in Zimbabwe. During the event, participants will identify options to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from livestock systems and stocktake existing policies, action plans, and initiatives that support climate action in Zimbabwe’s livestock systems.
