From 5 to 7 December, agricultural and statistical experts from national institutions of Mauritania will participate in the workshop “Evaluation and monitoring of the SDG indicator 6.4.2 (level of water stress) at national and basin level”.
The workshop is organized by the Integrated Monitoring Initiative for SDG 6 (IMI-SDG6) of FAO, in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and the National Society for rural development (SONADER) of Mauritania.
The theoretical and practical knowledge on the data and tools needed to assess and monitor the SDG 6.4.2 water stress indicator, including the estimation of environmental flows and disaggregation at the basin level are being discussed.
