The meeting of the ad hoc Committee on Strudture, Function,  an d Responsibilities of the  Indo-Pacific Fishery Commission (IPFC) was held at the  FAO Regional office  for  Asia and the Pacific in Bangkok , Thailand,  from 11 to 14 December 1990. the Ad Hoc Committee reviewed the objective, role and functions of the  Commission and considered the factors limiting its efficiency.
