RFLP engaged two international consultants to conduct an assessment of the sardine fishery in Zamboanga del Norte province of the Philippines and to identify priority areas to be addressed in a fishery improvement plan for the sardine fishery. The key findings and recommendations are presented in the audit report.

This case study presents an overview of the context, details the RFLP intervention, gives the results, implementation problems, and recommendations and key lessons learned when RFLP supported integrated pig rearing and biogas units in the central provinces of Quang Nam, Quang Tri and Thua Thien Hue of Vietnam.
Fisheries development and management plan of Negombo lagoon.

RFLP supported a participatory consultation process involving a wide range of stakeholder groups and different government agencies to draft and agree a fisheries development and management plan for Negombo lagoon. While finalized and agreed, the plan is awaiting official approval and gazetting.
