E-nugget n. 5 – Land Resources Planning

 

The first of two e-nuggets on Land Resources Planning has been organized by the Land and Water Division as part of the e-nugget series touching different thematic areas related to natural resources management. The training is directed to selected participants from Libya, Mali and Niger.

The e-nugget will offer an introduction to the concepts of Land Resources Management (LRM), Land Resource Planning (LRP) and Land Restoration (LR) and will focused on:

• Introduction to Sustainable Land Management and Land Restoration;
• Land Resource Planning and Sustainable Land Management – Assessment, planning, implementation and monitoring;
• Land Resource Planning tools for implementing Sustainable Land Management.
  

The training will be delivered by Feras Ziadat (FAO Land and Water Division), in English with French subtitles.
