Online administered course n. 8 – Integrated Management and Planning of Land Resources

In the framework of the FAO Building Forward Better Initiative, the  Land and Water Division is organizing an online administered course on Integrated Management and Planning of Land Resources.

The training will present the maim elements of land-use planning and, more broadly, land resource planning (LRP), describing how these approaches can help achieving a sustainable and efficient use of resources (considering both biophysical and socioeconomic dimensions).

The training will cover the following topics:

• Land resource planning and land suitability;
• Land-Use Planning and tenure security.

The training, organized by FAO in collaboration with WOCAT, will be provided in English with live interpreting in French.
