In the last decade several successful projects and initiatives have been implemented to promote the sustainability and adaptability of agriculture in line with the global commitments of greening agriculture and food production. In this regard, Europe and Central Asia region offers a comparative advantage in a number of technical areas that are relevant in the context of greening the agricultural production.

We have selected the most suitable technical areas and good practices to be included in the Regional Technical Platform related to green agriculture that are also relevant in other regions, taking into account realities and similar challenges been faced by other regions and some will be most relevant for our region as well.
