"Hear from the Beneficiaries" 35-year-old Jacklyn Yatawi is a hardworking cocoa farmer from Aunilup village in Maprik District, East Sepik Province π΅π¬. She is a mother of 5 who depends on cocoa, vanilla, and food crops for income to support her family.
"Hear from the Partners" The EU-Funded πΊπ³ UN Joint STREIT PNG Programme in close partnership with the Cocoa Board of PNG introduces new solar combination cocoa dryer to be established across the Sepik Region. The solar combination dryer aims to improve and maintain uniformity in the quality of cocoa produced as well as consistency in the supply.

"Hear From the Benefirciaries" Sperian Kapia is a lead cocoa farmer in Angoram district, East Sepik province who attended the programme's workshop on on Geographical Indications and how it can benefit local farmers and products in Sepik and Papua New Guinea.

EU-STREIT PNG Programme, in its efforts to improve vanilla production in Sepik region, is establishing vanilla treatment sheds across various central locations of rural villages where farmers have been intensively trained by the Programme on proper ways of farming vanilla.
