Thème du Forum 2023 de la science et de l’innovation
Le thème du Forum de cette année sera «La Science et l’innovation au service de l’action climatique» et coïncidera avec le thème général du Forum mondial de l’alimentation: «La transformation des systèmes agroalimentaires accélère l’action climatique».
Le Forum 2023 portera sur l’amélioration de l’accession aux meilleures technologies, pratiques innovantes et connaissances locales relatives au climat qui favorisent l’atténuation du changement climatique et la résilience et l’adaptation face à ses effets dans les systèmes agroalimentaires. Il permettra d’aborder de manière plus ciblée et plus stratégique comment la science, la technologie et l’innovation influent sur la vulnérabilité, l’impact et les capacités et jouent un rôle essentiel dans la transformation des systèmes agroalimentaires et l’intensification de l’action climatique.
Le Forum 2023 consistera à mettre en commun de l’expérience et des enseignements tirés de la mise en œuvre sur le terrain de solutions concrètes visant à intensifier l’action climatique, afin d’aider les membres à accélérer les efforts qu’ils mènent pour réaliser les objectifs de développement durable (ODD) et les quatre améliorations de la FAO, en ne laissant personne de côté.

En prévision du prochain Forum de la science et l'innovation de la FAO 2023, le Bureau du scientifique en chef de la FAO vous invite à partager des études de cas illustratives au niveau national portant sur des technologies et des innovations de systèmes agro-alimentaires en vue d'une action sur le climat.
Après examen et sélection des candidatures, les études de cas les plus percutantes, innovantes et pertinentes seront présentées au Forum de la science et de l’innovation de la FAO 2023 et les candidats seront invités à les présenter.
Les contributions peuvent être présentées dans l'une des six langues de l'ONU (anglais, arabe, chinois, espagnol, français et russe).
